Make a Pledge
Our church's ongoing ministries are funded primarily by the pledges of its members. Each year in the spring, we hold an "Every Member Canvass" during which time members and active friends of the church decide how much they plan to give during the coming fiscal year.Our budget is based on these pledges, and is approved by the vote of its members.
Contributions may be sent payable to First Unitarian Church of San Jose, 160 N. Third St. San Jose, CA 95112. For the convenience of those making a monthly payment on their pledge, an automatic funds-transfer program is also available, which transfers your monthly donation from your checking account to the church. We also will gladly accept donations of appreciated stock. To make a stock transfer, or set up an automatic funds transfer, please contact our Office Administrator. Please indicate whether a donation is for the Building Fund or for the Operating Expenses of the church.
