Carol Stephenson has worked at the First Unitarian Church of San José as the part-time Social Justice Coordinator since January 2005. She has worked and volunteered in a wide range of nonprofit organizations in Santa Clara Valley throughout her career inc,luding those that promote the rights of survivors of domestic violence, at-risk youth and San Jose's working poor. Carol's professional focus has been on the immigrant community she has worked as an immigration lawyer and for immigrant rights groups. Carol earned her master's degree in Mexican American Studies at San José State University. |
