Services in Spanish
A worship service in Spanish (with simultaneous English translation via headset) is held each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Nancy Palmer Jones or by a Spanish-speaking member of the congregation. The nursery is open for small children and older children are welcome to join us in the sanctuary for worship. Everyone attending the service is invited to a social hour immediately afterward.
Each services includes:
- A prelude
- Singing
- Welcome and announcements
- An exchange of greetings
- A call to worship and prayer
- Lighting of our chalice, the symbol of Unitarian Universalism
- An affirmation recited in both Spanish and English
- Story for all ages
- Candles of sharing and celebration
- Offering
- Sermon
- Benediction and postlude
