Purpose
The Campus UUs at SJSU seek to spread tolerance, promote a just and compassionate society, and expand how we make the Unitarian Universalist Principles real in our daily lives; provide a wide variety of opportunities for taking action on these principles; and create a congregation of informed and engaged citizens.
Mission

• To establish an accepting and welcoming environment for San Jose students to  explore spirituality
• To support efforts to advocate, educate, organize, serve, and be a witness for social change

Membership
Club members are invited to participate in Campus UUs events and associated programs. Members are also welcome to attend committee meetings as well as ongoing educational and cultural events.  Membership is free to current San Jose State students.

Spring 2012 Meeting Schedule

For the Spring 2012 semester, the Campus UUs will meet on Thursdays at 4:30pm in the Montalvo Room on the second floor of the San Jose State Student Union.  The exception is March 22nd when we will meet in the Costanoan Room, also on the second floor.  Check our Facebook page for the latest events – and please Like us!

Typical Events

Sunday Lunch
We invite college students to join the UUthful Spirits on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month for lunch after the 11am service (around 12:45pm) at the First Unitarian Church of San José (160 N. Third St., San Jose) and then decide where to eat.

First Friday Happy Hour
Join the UUthful Spirits for a get-together at the Old Wagon Saloon and Grill from 5:30 pm - 7 pm.
 
First Friday Art Night
The 1st Friday of every month is the time to go view artwork in the area.

Game Night
We'll play an assortment of friendly games.

Movie Night
We'll get together to view and discuss a recent movie with some snacks.

Pride Parade
In mid-August, a contingent marches with our banner in the San Jose Pride Parade. Let's go and represent UU's at SJSU.
