Third Street Community Center and First Unitarian Church of San Jose

The Third Street Community Center (TSCC) serves local families through an after-school program for children who attend Horace Mann Elementary School, and by providing support services to other family members.  TSCC is an independent non-profit organization that enjoys a close relationship with the church, including using office space in the church building.

Members of the First Unitarian Church can be involved with TSCC through a variety of volunteer opportunities, including tutoring English as a Second Language students, teaching robotics, mentoring youth, and helping after school students with special projects. TSCC welcomes guest speakers on science subjects for the after-school program.
